The 12th Dan Popper Symposium - February 23rd, 2012, Eilat, Israel Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Eilat Campus. The symposium is organized by the National Center for Mariculture of Israel Oceanographic and Limnological Research in Eilat, the Society of Israeli Aquaculture and Marine Biotechnology and the Agricultural Research Organization (Volcani Institute), Israeli Ministry of Agriculture will bring together researchers, students, farmers to exchange research results, information and ideas. We anticipate this interaction will stimulate discussions and collaborations and will help advance the development of modern technology for aquaculture in Israel and the region, as in previous years. Volume 64, 2012: The first batch of 2012 articles appear now online and are accessible by all IJA registered individuals and institutions.
The 10th International Symposium on Tilapia in Aquaculture (ISTA 10), 6-10 October 2013, Ramada Jerusalem Hotel
This symposia will bring together tilapia biologists to review latest discoveries in tilapia nutrition, physiology, reproductive biology, genetics, health, ecology, improvements in production systems, and other fields related to tilapia and their use in aquaculture. Further information about registration, submission of abstracts and program will be posted at a later stage.
Open Access (OA): As of January 2010, the IJA appears exclusively as a peer reviewed free registration Electronic Open Access (OA) Journal. For free registration forms click > OA Registration form . Electronic subscription forms can be downloaded and sent from our site. Actual registrations will remain valid until further notice. Forgotten usernames and passwords can be provided at request. Please do not re-subscribe.
NEW: "Accepted manuscripts" will now gradually appear on site. These are IJA coded articles that have been accepted for publication. Once the edited versions of the papers are finalized, they will appear in the category of "full articles" on our website and the respective "accepted manuscripts" will be removed.
Guidelines to authors: Our guidelines to authors have been updated and now concur with the requirements of our online journal. Only articles that concur with the IJA guidelines will be sent to the reviewers. We urge authors to browse our archived issues on our Internet site for relevant papers to cite.
